Tracking position along the travel axis
This MIRAN LS2 rod transducer measures linear displacement over a 60cm stroke. The rod links the moving part to the transducer body, so the reading follows its extension and retraction. The series uses a potentiometer principle, and the measuring system uses the changing reading to determine position along the axis. Select the stroke for the part's travel inside the machine.

LS2-600MM details
Model LS2-600MM has a 600mm stroke, 10kΩ resistance and 0.05%FS linearity. The measuring input needs a connection suited to that resistance. Linearity describes the consistency between position and the reading across the stroke. For a replacement, read the existing unit's electrical details alongside its travel so the size and connection are considered together.
Choosing the 60cm stroke
Body length and its fixing position complete the selection of a 60cm stroke. The rod needs room to move between its attachment points, so compare the transducer at both endpoints of axis travel.
