Measuring a 40cm rod stroke
The MIRAN LS2-400MM measures linear travel over a 40cm stroke. Its rod extends and retracts with the attached part, changing the position reading sent to the measuring system. Selection starts with the axis travel and rod attachment, so the transducer can follow the part being measured from the start to the end of its movement.

Resistance and the measuring input
This model belongs to the potentiometer-based LS2 series. It has a 5kΩ resistance, 400mm measuring stroke and 0.05%FS linearity. Linearity describes how consistently the reading changes with position. Check the resistance against the controller input and connection arrangement, particularly when replacing a transducer with the same stroke in the machine.

Installation dimensions include the body, its fixing position and the rod linkage, alongside the 40cm stroke.
